Xu Liyan, Yanzhi as her alias, known as Wanshi, Baijingfang idler, Yanxinzhai host, born in Yanzhou, Zhejiang Province. She is a member of China Artists Association.

She was graduated from the Affiliated High School to Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts in 1965 (now the Affiliated High School to China Academy of Art). In 1970, she was

director of the magazine “Culture and Entertainment”. She is currently the vice chairman of Zhejiang International Art Exchange Association
